Privacy Policy
Last updated July 22, 2026
This policy explains what As-Is Home Buyers collects when you use this website or submit our offer form, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have written it to describe what our site actually does — not to be vague.
Who we are
As-Is Home Buyers is a trade name of TurnKey Home Buyers, a real estate investment company buying houses directly from owners in Chicagoland. You can reach us at chris@asishomebuyeril.com or (224) 422-2775.
Information you give us
Our offer form asks for your property address, full name, and phone number. Those are required — we cannot prepare an offer without them. You may also choose to provide your email address, an asking price, and details about the property (for example that it is vacant, inherited, tenant-occupied, or behind on payments). Those fields are optional and the form works without them.
Information we collect automatically
When you submit the form, it also sends technical and marketing context along with your answers. We want to be specific about this rather than call it "usage data":
- Where you came from — the referring website, search term where available, and advertising campaign tags (including Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and TikTok click identifiers) so we know which marketing actually produces calls.
- How you used the site — the page you landed on, the pages you viewed, how long you spent, a randomly generated session identifier, and your time zone.
- Whether you have been here before — a visit count and first/last visit dates, so we know if you are a returning visitor.
- Your device — device type, browser, operating system, screen size, and browser language.
- Anti-fraud signals — a submission timestamp, how quickly the form was filled out, and a fingerprint of your submission, used to detect automated spam and to avoid contacting you twice about the same duplicate submission.
We do not collect your precise location, and we do not track you across other companies' websites.
Address lookup
The property address field uses Google Maps Places to suggest addresses as you type. What you type into that field is sent to Google to return suggestions, and Google's handling of it is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. When you pick a suggestion, we store the standardized version of the address — street, city, state, ZIP, and county — so we can evaluate the property. You can ignore the suggestions and type the address manually.
How we use your information
We use it to respond to you, evaluate the property, prepare and discuss a cash offer, carry out a purchase if you decide to sell, measure which marketing works, prevent spam and fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not use it to make automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.
Calls, texts, and emails
When you check the consent box and submit the form, you agree that we may contact you by phone call, text message, and email about your request — including through automated dialing or texting technology. Consent is not a condition of selling your home to us. You can ask us to buy your property without agreeing to automated contact; just call us directly at (224) 422-2775.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or HELP for help. You can opt out of any or all contact at any time — see our opt-out page. We keep a record of your consent and of any opt-out request.
How we share it
We share your information only in these situations:
- Service providers who run our operations. Your form submission is delivered through Zapier to our customer records and communication tools. These providers process your information on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Completing a transaction. If you move forward with a sale, we share what is necessary with the parties required to close it — such as a title company, attorney, escrow agent, or inspector.
- Legal requirements. When we are required to by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our legal rights.
- Business transfer. If our business is sold or merged, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not send your inquiry out to a network of other investors — when you contact us, you are contacting one local buyer, not a lead marketplace.
How long we keep it
If you sell us a property, we keep records of the transaction as long as required by law and for tax and title purposes, generally seven years after closing. If your inquiry does not lead to a transaction, we keep it for up to three years so we can recognize you if you contact us again, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies and does not use your information to show you ads or track you across other companies' websites.
It stores a small amount of information in your browser's own local storage to remember your session, count your visits, and prevent duplicate form submissions. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings without affecting your use of the site.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages they view and which lead to a request — so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives a de-identified record of your visit. We have configured it to anonymize your IP address and we have turned off its advertising and cross-site features, so it is used for measurement only. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not load Google Analytics at all — you get no analytics cookies and no tracking. You can also block these cookies in your browser or install Google's opt-out add-on.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You may also opt out of our communications at any time. To make a request, email chris@asishomebuyeril.com or call (224) 422-2775. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law — including in Illinois and, for California residents, under the CCPA/CPRA. We honor these requests from residents of any state rather than checking your address first. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals your browser sends.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time your state's law requires.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection and your form submission is transmitted encrypted. We limit access to your information to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is meant for adults who own property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here.
